I was editing some Korra footage and got a better look at one of those super fast transition cuts that Bryke has been teasing us with. I found this:
I’M PRETTY MUCH CERTAIN THAT THIS IS A CHI-BLOCKER TRAINING CENTER (BECAUSE OF THE MASKS AND SIGNS ON THE WALL) AND KORRA IS FLOODING THE SHIT OUT OF IT.
I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but in one of the storyboard screen caps that Bryan posted on his Tumblr for Korra Book 2 awhile back included this little sequence:

Here’s the thing,
I agree that to some level leaks have generally negative effects and cause the creators of whatever was leaked some pain, however with this recent development I really don’t think you can take it that way. We can’t justify that it’s “ok” to watch the first episode just because we’ve been waiting so long, but no one should be mad at those who do, including Bryke. If anything, this leak shows what intense fans this show has and how far they will go to be able to watch the show that they love the most.
I have mixed feelings about the leaks from awhile back, namely because I have no idea how they were attained, but in hindsight I think they benefitted the fandom as a whole and got us even more excited for Korra. Without these leaks, who knows where we would be on the Korra Nation meter right now. I’m not saying that the leaks were justified by any means, taking credit for the hard work Bryke has done for the past 7 years would be terrible, but in a way they were crucial for keeping the fandom as alive and as passionate as we are. Watching the leak does not mean that you are disloyal. A true fan loves the show in all its forms, and we should not divide our fandom over the individual’s choices, but rather embrace our mutual love for Korra by having those who’ve watched it WAIT until the 23rd or even the 14th to release their opinions.
So for all that have seen the leak, have fun and relish the moment that you’ve been waiting two years for BUT DO NOT SPOIL IT FOR OTHERS. And for those patient enough to wait, I commend your self-restraint and your personal beliefs on the matter and I can’t wait to watch the whole episode again with you on the 23rd!

Ok so I know there’s been some debate about whether or not Aang made Katara a betrothal necklace, but I’ve found something that should basically put the verdict to rest.
This is a shot of Katara at Korra’s firebending test. It’s the only picture I’ve seen so far that you can see most of the detail of the necklace. When compared to her necklace in the original series it’s basically the same.
Swirls on the top and river on the bottom. If Aang did make her one, if sure looks awfully like her mom’s.
